Sollera uses state of the art optimization software to ensure that the manufacturing of our products provide the highest yield of usable material. Unused material is recycled and used for animal bedding in local farms and in pulp paper manufacturing.

We ensure that the VOC's, the HAP's and the formaldehyde levels are at a minimum in our varnishes and also have a state of the art distillation unit that is used to reclaim solvents from unused stains and paints. This ensures that those compounds do not enter our atmosphere or landfills.

In 1998, Sollera refitted our entire factory and offices with high output, low energy light systems. Recent reviews from the local electric company, have resulted in excellent reports with no suggestions for improvement.
